I have no idea how RAW sources their leather but this is not your average cow hide and not your average tanning process. this is akin to these fancy leather products you see in the US (for a cow hide). This is very much one of the best leathers in Egypt.
Design wise, i love the stitching. wallet is configured to close and without empty space flapping around by way of the vertical layout. it will not disfigure with use.
as someone who enjoys and chases after patina, i think this wallet can be titled patina king whilst being elegant. unlike the “crazy horse” offering from others.
would recommend to anyone who values individuality.
this is a wallet that you can carry if you travel to the US and be proud to show Egyptian craftsmanship. it is that good.
